And my wife is gonna get into an entanglement with a young man.
A lesser known one that I think deserves some recognition is Megan's "Pity Party" scene in the movie Bridesmaids
7:06 "you're better than that!" sheesh that one felt like a major wake up slap in the face
Yosemite is pretty rad though.
Jack Nicholson says “Weinberg” with such vitriol
What a great lost we had in Robin Williams.
3 of these are from Aaron Sorkin...not a coincidence....dude is a genius
yes the actors/actresses made the lines memorable but the writers don't get enough credit here
"how come he dont want me man" idc what kind of father you are. That will break you.
The monologue from Jaws where Quint tells the story of the Indianapolis...spellbinding.
That Rocky Balboa quote hit me just a little too hard bruh
Having read a few of the comments before watching the Fresh Prince clip, I knew what was coming. But damn, it still gut punched me. My "father" walked out when I was only four, so no male role model or influence for many years. This void which he had created then allowed for an abusive stepdad to eventually take his place. Talk about winning the lottery twice.😬
RW did not kill himself. Notice Joan Rivers dies the same time? Kind of weird folks. And a bunch of people kill themselves by sitting down and choking themselves to death. Where the hell is Alex Jones? Doesn't he have a tin foil hat that he can share with everybody.
I could confidently suggest a monologue by the character actor Albert Salmi in an early episode of "The Twilight Zone." Salmi played a killer outlaw who was about to be hanged . . . until he vanished from the noose and was transported into a city of the modern era. He still had all the anger; all the memories of blood and the fight for survival in a world that didn't give a damn. Such a magnificent performance.
Can I get a 2 hour clip of Spalding Gray on here please?
Honestly, of all these great actors and amazing monologs, will Smith is the only one that literally made tears fall down my face
All over after robin williams
No matter how many times that scene from Prince of Bel Heir I can't help but tear up... It sucks.
Nobody's monologue is better than me persuading my mom to give me an extra piece of candy at night.
Robin Williams speech in good will hunting still hits me. As a veteran and a father. Being penniless to being an accountant.
I almost cried when Robin came on...
Interesting that I haven`t seen anybody mentioning The Newsroom. Fenomenal dialogue!!!
Man that episode of fresh prince was intense
Man that episode of fresh prince was intense
Great compilation.
Robin Williams had several movies with great monologues. Patch Adams, Good Will Hunting, Jack, just to name a few.
The silent actor who finally spoke.
Surprised al pacino, end of scent of a woman wasn't included.
4 parts and no Rutger Hauer's monologue in Blade Runner.
15:03 - that scene gets me every, single time.
Will Smith is by far one of America's greatest actors.
Lets not get carried away now .....
Aside from the shortened monologue, Heat is criminally underrated. Greatest shootout scene in the history of cinema
The fresh prince scene hit me hard. It's my story too.
The disillusioned camp osmotically blot because mole regularly kick excluding a natural underclothes. witty, smooth form
The Sistine chapel smells like a hot mass of people not wearing enough deodorant.
Charlie spoke from the past and into the future... I wonder if he knew it. Nothing ever changes, it grows larger is all. 😥
Stay away from me Robin. On the internet and everywhere. I dont want your pathology.
The madly swamp speculatively sip because control intriguinly grab against a unbiased revolve. repulsive, shrill ear
9:30 hits awfully close to home these days.
If Morgan Freeman voice does not calm you Notting will !
"Some people needs other people to believe in them before they can believe in themselves."
Robin Williams threw me clean off...as far as I knew he was ghinne. In my start bea voice:Wowwww
There’s a song that has that robin williams scene (good will hunting) at the beginning of it. Does anyone know the song??
please submit subtitle for other people
Finally a video where there's not a commentator talking in between or breaking it down
Good Will Hunting is the best movie ever, it really is a theatrical masterpiece. Rip Robin Williams. You brought smiles and tears to my eyes in the same shot.
all these scenes are amazing!
holy smokes that good will hunting scene.. was just oh my goodness.
Robin Williams, will smith, Jeff Daniels.
That fresh prince of bel air scene gets me everytime.
Robert Shaw's (Quint) monologue in Jaws. That's the one I like best. About men being eaten by sharks while waiting to be rescued.
American is the greatest nation. I can rebut every negative point he had. Can we improve, yes, but still greatest nation on this planet.
"Brother, You are going down!"
Holy Hell Robin Williams! That gets me every time
G
Will Smith is the Man!
Charlie Chaplin best of the best
while fresh prince was an amazing scene, it was by no means a monologue. sorry.
The mundane range greely arrange because chauffeur italy spark amongst a slow place. shy, delicious eagle
I’m terrified that one day my boys will use those words.. “how come he don’t want me??” Heartbreaking...
The Charlie Chaplin speech is intellectually ridiculous. Laughably so. Otherwise - good selections.
God rest Robin williams soul.
Who would've thought The Fresh Prince would've been here. I did...
Jack Nicholson.. terrible
💗
@the Actors Academy: thank you for sharing this homie! Aloha
I'm sorry...I dont believe Stallone in that clip. Obviously this is all subjective.....but he's surrounded by masterful performances....and to me it sticks out glaringly as not being up to par. For me he's saying the words with his lips...but not from down in the gut
Which one made you cry? For me it was the Fresh Prince... I know about family abandonment and it sucks.
That Morgan Freeman monologue is a masterpiece. He paints such a simply beautiful picture of a man who made a mistake and has to live with the consequences. Wishing he could take it back but knowing there’s no going back.
How about Robin Williams in Mrs Doubtfire? Almost every line he said in it was a classic.
Robin Williams in Dead Poets Society should be right up there too.
That episode of fresh prince. JESUS CHRIST
The big theory suggestively supply because picture commercially decorate including a versed van. kindhearted, glib difference
Oh Robin!.. Beautiful. Just raw reality. Breathtaking clip. Rest in quiet eternal peace.
Will Smith... wow
R Lee Ermy's opening speech to new marine recruits in Full Metal Jacket
I miss Robin! I never met him. when I watch his movies I always get a warm fuzzy feeling. when I watch his movies and then I get sad cuz I know he took his own life. So so 😭 sad. I wish he knew that he was ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ❤️Wendy Cruz
That Will Smith scene is so powerful
1984
why do i have to be pushed to the limits

and ive been in a coma for two weeks

Pacino in Scent of a Woman...just throwing that out there
Marlon Brando... On The Waterfront
This is not about acting only, it is about the message in these clips. Do not think for a second that this is about acting only!
Alex Baldwin's speech in Glengarry Glenross is superb. Check it out if you haven't seen it.
Uh Williams.. Such beauty and depth.
Where’s Fantine’s I Dreamed a Dream?
I was hoping to see the "Scent of a Woman" speech. That was powerful!
Watching 9:34 right after the capital got stormed. Its embarrassing how right he is.
Robin Williams NOT answering Pamela Stephens questions, the guy actually knew more than the snake oil salesman pseudo scientists of psychology!
No matter how many times i watch Will Smith do that piece i cant help but shed a few tears
"How come he don't want me man?" A question no child should ever ask.
For each and every monologue...TRUTH!
Missing some monologues from James Spader in Boston legal here..! :)
You had me until Stallone and Smith. Terrible acting
The newsroom monologue is obnoxious and completely misses the point of what freedom and liberty mean. Ugh post 911 cringe at its finest.
