can someone tell me why this guys doesnt upload much? im new here.
Even the Nelson Mandela effect the time illusion.may be in future their will be a episode on Morgan freeman the old guy since 90's.
I'm noticing only now that his beard constitutes to my casual viewer's eyes about 90 percent of Michael's persona.
"WHAT IS YOUR CONSEPTUAL CONTINUITY" Frank Zappa from the APOSTROPHE 1974. Something I still ask PEOPLE...Enjoy what you IS!
AAAAAHHH MICHAEL WITHOUT BEARD 😟😟😟
This guy DID NOT spend 3 days in Solitary Isolation, Who is he kidding ? Even Hardcore Convicts who have spent decades in Prison have described a single day of Solitary Isolation in a White Room as Painful and Torture.
....anyone else see the lady holding a smart phone in 1980 video in 7/11..?
this is dope
How much I focused made me realize this wasn't that much time in a day it can be 7 days of not a lot or the same thing more
He's back.... *Or is he?*
Basically we'r not important at all and nothing we do matter in the long run...hurryay
See you guys another 6/7 month
Well I am a time traveller and I Vsauce completed 20 M subs on August 26 2021
probably the best Vsauce video to date
The title of the video is an excuse for the long break he took And we didn't even notice
Watch apollo 11 the movie... People from the 60' in HD... it's mindblowing
Who is watching the video in 2022?
One of your best videos, my brain is going to be chewing on this for a while. :D
**2021 will be the worse year** also 2021=
I like the fact you waited 4 months for the beard before you came back. Thanks Michael. Welcome back.
He changed his pullover
20:25 people snapping pics of food BEFORE social media? 🤔
The alternative title to this is “A guy making you feel like an old piece of shit for 30 minutes” But seriously, great video!
is it me or when i 1st saw him it look like his heasd was floading
No vsauce music :’(
gather around kids the only youtuber ever has posted
This is what I’m gonna say when my teacher ask why I’m late
I love that sweater
Does Michael do an impression of David Cross or does David Cross do an impression of Michael?
What the hell!!!!! The beard!!!! Noooooooo
NOOOOOOOO NOT THE BEARD
Good thing I'll never be old
Is it possible to send Mickel from vesause things in his po box, I would love to send him a box from dollor shave club. Not as a sponsor or anything I just wanna see this beard grow to its fullest potentel and thrive on his face. Like a new born baby.
the reason vsauce hasn't uploaded for months was because he had to grow his beard back after shaving it for a few seconds of the video.
Michael without beard looks like Jeff Kaplan
I keep thinking I'm hearing animal crossing new horizons in the background 😅🤣
The meek romania ultrastructurally compete because duckling acromegaly identify during a cynical explanation. dirty, deadpan wish
WOW!!!
I feel like this idea that the current day with the most modern tech means we are the most valid time is also a way in which people shrug off the social attitudes of the past since we have 4k video capability on smartphones the opinion on **********current hot political topic**************** is more valid in *****Current year******* than when smartphones did'nt exist because we now know how to make better tech and are somehow smarter as a society
I was born in the fall of '88. Back in the summer of '09 I first heard that Diablo III was in development, and I remembered reminiscing about playing Diablo II back in '00-'01. That was a long time ago back then. Now, January 21 2021, 2013 was not a long time ago. I remember buying a few manga around that time. Similarly, I remember watching the Angry video game nerd and buying a Wii in January of '09. That was not a long time ago, but back then, January of '97, and December of '96, was a long time ago. I think we simply stop living in the present as we grow older. We also start thinking it's easier to identify with our old selves as we grow older. I'm basically the same person I was back in '09, with the same interests. Back in '09, I didn't identify with 8 year old me. Also, there are so many changes the first two decades of our lives, so there seems to be more going on, which makes it seem bigger retrospectively. Edit: back in the beginning of '2011, 9/11 was a long time ago. Now, Fukushima, the shooting of Gabrielle Gifford, and the Utöya shootings, weren't that long ago. They just happened. I mean, 2016 was the half waypoint between then and now. That's the year Trump got elected.
Last night I didn't watch much TV and didn't bother much with Facebook or KGworld But I did sit for quite some time with my dog on my lap scratching his belly 😊
When you do something you hate time goes slower but when you do something you love makes time go faster
Time is just a unit of measure we use to quantify memories of past and thoughts of the future. Our capability to recognize the cyclical nature of reality such as seasons and years, and the knowledge that conscious experience is moving through some sort of medium is the reason why we invent and measure time. You can not look for time anywhere in the universe, just like you can not look for inch somewhere, because it's not a "thing". This is why I would argue that there no such thing as time travel, but more like consciousness travel.
"If you are 25, you have already lived through and been apart of more than 10% of America's history." Screw you man, where the hell do you get off?! YOU'RE THERE GEEZER HERE BUDDY NOT ME! (muffled crying)
1/21/2021 when i watched this for anyone scrolling down the comments in 1/21/2031
o_o
1997 hey that's my birth year!
I keep waiting for the right time to watch this video. I haven’t seen it yet. Weirdly though. Everytime it comes up on my recommended it feels like it was posted over a month ago. But it says it’s only been a week.
The 70s, 80s, 90s feel like a different version of our same world. Even more remote, the middle ages etc, they are the same world but older versions of it. If you walk through the neighborhood you grew up in you will experience this thing with memories flooding from recognizing things that are still there from the 90s, from the 80s. And also seeing how things changed. Its a special experience and makes you feel the passage of time. Those versions of the world you will never experience again. The signs that they were once the real current version of the world are still there, and everyone who experiences them will agree, everyone who didn't will just look at you with passing interest. I pity the zoomers because I already feel the best versions of the world as I knew them being born in 81 have passed, and things seemingly did not change much from 2000 to 2010, they must have changed ever so slightly, and that change is the only change the younger generation has experienced. What do they feel nostalgia or a longing for? What was better 10-20 years ago then it is now?
This makes me feel how insignificant we really are :(
Is anyone now??
My Chronosonder moment was when I read some Roman dog grave inscriptions, the love and memories of a person reflecting on the life of their dog created for me a true moment of understanding and connection with someone older than Christ. "I am in tears, while carrying you to your last resting place as much as I rejoiced when bringing you home in my own hands fifteen years ago."
MY MIND IS BLOWN!!!
Dunno why you switched sweaters but it made me think at first that these scenes were filmed in reverse over the 130 days process and your beard was supposed to get shorter with each shot but I disappointed myself
He’s gonna open the gate of the multiverse if he carries on
This feels so much like the classic vsauce from 2012 and I think this was intentional by michael to prove his point in the video. This man is simply amazing
I bet Christopher Nolan is watching this video.
A lot of how we view our lives and perceive time is reliant upon the speed of technology.
these videos keep getting deeper and deeper and at the end, I'm always sat here thinking about it... weird but oddly satisfying.
So glad you're back
How about remembering your parents telling you things like how unsafe something is, or why we shouldn't do it and thinking to ourselves "Naah parents are just boring like that" and now we tell our own kids the same things our parents did, and now we are the boring ones in our kids eyes...In response to that we tell them how experience has made us wiser and we know better, and then remembering our parents said the same thing...perpetual cycle.
Oh my
👑
How many times did he change his shirt?
Great video! As a historian and artist, it's fascinating how I relate to my community's and my past as well as creations made at the start of my career in the mid 1990s. For my own mixed media maritime world, several pieces are now literally museum ships while real cruise ships built in the late 1980s are being retired scrapped. It's like seeing a shopping mall fully packed in the 1980s--Pre internet and therefore impossible to imagine to my nephews and niece.
Who else is watching in 2021???
This was the most least interested Vsauce video. What happened this time dude?
9:45 I see an image of the queen dabbing. This is amazing ÒwÓ
summary of the video: you can but you cant
It's kind of depressing how many of the concepts in this video I've already spent (probably too much) time thinking about without introduction. I really need to get a life!
Who's the other vsauce?
I like his plant sweater
Ur back
Holyy shit he is baaaack, or is he? *tenenenenn*
Legit squeaked with joy when I saw this.... Og sauce
finally!!! he has returned!!!!
He shaved👀
I can’t believe I’m just meeting this guy. I think I’m in love, no homo
i think that people experience the world feeling more real now because of the things we use to record being much better quality leading to the world feeling more real
This video is much too White...... this is racist for all other videos out there....
A quick summary on mankind: Every generation 3 things evolve that are signature to that generation 1 - Social Norms 2 - Current Events 3 - Technology (unless you can find another thing to add lol)
this is so cool bro danggg
helo
Now i see Why he wasnt making vids he used a year recording first before he shaved then shaved then recorded then he counted days and then recorded again with a NEW beard and thats why😐
The longer his beard is, the more he looks like a mad scientist to me
Now i see Why hes channel
Beardless Micheal looks like a bargain bin Phil Collins.
He should make a mind field episode about paranormal activity
I don't care what anybody says. The '70s is still 30 years ago.
He is the modern day socrates
This was exeptionaly wholesome content for todays KGworld. THANKS!
Michael would make a phenomenal taoist
why is the australian government forcing the covid vaccine 0n health care workers when there is a 0 percentage of people having ANY covid symptoms. maybe it is australian governments plan to KILL off as many people as they can by making the covid vaccine mandatory for health care workers.communism is free masonry. elon musk is lab created clone (robot).all the news (Live) comment section has been disabled. the only evil organisation of this world has stolen all the entertainers of each country , transgendered them at birth and abused them. it is what the evil free masonry (WHO ROYALS UN GOVERNMENTS) do.there is no corona virus and pfizer forcing people to take the vaccine against their will. . many people have died because of it. it is in our constitution . we cannot be forced. many people have died because of the c vaccine . Jesus Is The ONLY Power!!
A thought experiment I've often had is this: if I could, would I skip the time spent doing boring chores or time spent walking long distances -- such as a trip to the grocery store in bad weather or, as suggested in this video, the waiting for a flight in an airport? What if I could just zone out and immediately get to where I want to be? The answer is always no. I wouldn't. These moments of boredom feel healthy, because it leaves me much time to ponder. If you could just skip these moments your life would be shorter, and you'd miss out on a lot of time that you could spend on self-reflection. So even if it can be gruelly boring at times, I'd still take it even if I had the option not to. So much so, in fact, that in moments where I could zone out by browsing my phone, I sometimes opt not to. Sometimes it can be healthy to just immerse yourself in your current environment, take notice of things you would've blocked out had you been browsing your phone, such as sounds, smells, how you yourself might feel, what there is to see. You might overhear a conversation or notice details in your environment that you would've otherwise missed. If you're walking in the rain you might actually start to ponder how the wet fabric of your clothes feel as they touch your skin. Taking in these things is good, I think. They're experiences that, while not exciting, might contribute to a little bit of personal growth even if we won't ever choose to remember them.
Reject humanity. Embrace Monkey.
Today I realized how much I love Michael’s beard
Im scared to lose Vsauce lol
You guys are so optimistic! I love this.
Have you noticed he never asks you to like or subscribe or click the bell icon, and yet have 16.5 M subs, well done Sir.
