this a promotion for the new call of duty cold war game im not a gamer at all but i find this really cool i believe the game manufacture goes by the name treyarch and there marketing tacktic i think was pretty brillant! the marketing tacktic was to by air time from WRMI on 17790 and 7570 then they sent out secret packages to some of the game purchasers that contained a Tecsun PL 880 a bolt with a secret note inside that when you open it its a one time cypher pad there is also a note that says 'For Your Eyes Only! Monday 10 AM PST (17:00 UT) which was the set time for this WRMI broadcast theres also a frequency labled on a sticker on the front of the radio tat either said 17790 khz or 7570 khz depending on your location it was shipped to tey would then have to look at the manual to firgure out how to use the radio you actually see some videos on tis made by some big youtube gamers its kinda funny to watch as an HF radio hobbyist cause there all new to shortwave someone even confused 17790 for 1700 khz in Mw and wondered why they were haering spanish music they cypher pad they had labled the numbers that broadcast over WRMI they then had to decode it i guees and type it in a website onthe computer pretty damn cool early game promo though!!

I think it's going to be a WRMI broadcast because they do a test transmittion at 17790 Khz a few hours ago.exactly the same frequency listed on the radio.and since WRMI is a transmitting service meaning that their relay station is use by other radio station,maybe activision going to try broadcast something through it. (Fyi:their relay station is around miami)
