This Tungsten Cube is pretty much the heaviest 4” cube you can get here on earth. It’s one of the densest elements which makes it insanely weighty for its size. You literally can’t make sense of it when you see it then try to pick it up haha. We’ve been wanting to KO stuff with it at our drop tower for ages so it was epic to finally get it done!

  • The bucket bounced because water is almost completely incompressible. So when the cube or stone hits the water, the force transfers through the water and bucket and tries to transfer it to the ground. However, since the ground cannot move, the force bounces back on the bucket, launching the whole thing into the air.

  • How about dropping things onto an instrumented crash test dummy? I'm trying to think of what would be a good small thing to start with. Mythbusters already did a penny. Maybe a roll of pennies? And then a bucket of pennies, dropped in a blob. (Some sort of trap door arrangement.) But, one of the main things I want to see is a water balloon. You said that kids drop them through the pipe. I'm wondering if those water balloons are dangerous from 45 m. That's why I want to see an instrumented dummy head. Other fun stuff to finish off would be a bag or two of powder paint. Giant dart. Bowling balls. An anvil? Then maybe the axe or the fist. Or, maybe finish off dropping the dummy onto the axe.
